Welcome to lesson 3 in the Messaging Mastery module. So far, you’ve worked on two exercises for coming up with the messaging to use in your marketing materials - You’ve created your Guiding Light- AKA your one-linter or elevator pitch, and you’ve described the Outcomes your Dream Client gets when she overcomes the Obstacles to her success, and then we picked her 4 Core Obstacles and 4 core Outcomes.

Whew! That’s been a lot, hasn’t it? Well, in this lesson and the next, things will finally start to come together! In this lesson, you’ll Pain the Picture of Success by extrapolating your Real Results from your Core Outcomes, you’ll look at the Outcomes of each step of your Proprietary Process (which you described in lesson 2 of the Offer Optimization lesson).

And then in the final lesson for the Messaging Mastery lesson, you’ll pull all those Outcomes together to create your Sales Post!

Each of the next two lessons will be short, but like the last two lessons, the work is deep and it might feel intense or overwhelming for you, especially if this is a new way of thinking about your work! I encourage you to revisit your methods for overcoming resistance, and to give yourself plenty of time to work through the workbook.

With that, let’s get started. Finding your Real Results can be quite easy! You’re simply going to look at your Core Outcomes and ask “what does my client get from this outcome?” And you’ll ask yourself that 3 or 4 times until you get to the Real Result your client will get when she has overcome the Core Obstacle. Why do we do this?

Because the Outcomes of overcoming the obstacles give your client some immediate wins, BUT they also impact her further down the road. So by asking “what does this give her” you’re getting a better idea of the “down the road” results of your offer. So, let’s walk through an example using my Core Outcomes from earlier.

Now, we’re going to work through the same process for the Process from Part 2 of the Offer building lessons. As yourself, for each step or pillar in your Proprietary Process “what does this do for my client?” Again, step through this process 3 or 4 times until you get a clear and enticing result.

Then you can see that below that, I fleshed out these points into a few complete sentences that describe what they’ll do in that step of my Process and what they’ll get from it.
